Japanese gaming big Sega Sammy has agreed to purchase Offended Birds maker Rovio Leisure.
The teams confirmed in a joint assertion this morning that Sega, the agency behind franchises equivalent to Sonic the Hedgehog, will purchase its Finnish rival for €706m (£625m).

Sega pays 9.25 euros per share and 1.48 euros per share possibility for the cell gaming enterprise.
The Japanese agency has mentioned it plans to “speed up” development within the international gaming market via the deal and create synergies between the 2 companies.
Alexandre Pelletier-Normand, chief government officer of Rovio, mentioned:“I grew up taking part in Sonic the Hedgehog, captivated by its state-of-the-art design.
“Later, after I performed Offended Birds for the primary time, I knew that gaming had advanced into a real mainstream phenomenon, with the ability to form fashionable tradition.”
